I lived in Berlin in 2007. I met an amazing filmmaker and we made a film. We screened it in a tiny theater to a small audience. The theater was in a bar behind a stage. The bartender ran the projector. She was very difficult unsupportive of us doing tests with the projector before the screening. When the film ended people clapped. The bartender invited us back to screen our movies there any time we wanted. We made a fan.
